Ha! I listen to La Roux constantly. Justice I listen to as well, btw they are produced by the same team (or something, same label, I dunno).
I just totally forgot about those two though.
My suggestions for you (not all fit your criteria, but give them a chance): La Roux, Robyn, Emilie Simon, The Veronicas, The Sounds (I know I gave you their old CDs and you thought they were okay, their new one is more dance-y), and Ellie Goulding.
There are two British singers who I’ve heard of but I don’t listen to them. One is Neon Hitch (sings a song with the guy from Gym Class Heroes) and the other is Grimes.
The Kimbra song reminded me of Fitz and the Tantrums. They’re US and have a male and female singer so they don’t completely fit your criteria, but give them a chance. Also, give Justice a shot. They remind me of Daft Punk.
