It is beginning! The Halo 4 Limited Edition went up for pre-order today. The Halo Bulletin announced that the major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and the newly opened Microsoft Store are now accepting pre-orders for the upcoming release. Unlike the previous installments of the series, there will be no legendary edition of the game sold, only the regular and the Limited Edition. Some people may be saddened by this news, but do not fret, the Limited Edition is AWESOME!!

For a mere $99.99 you will already have 9 future DLC maps pre-purchased with your LE purchase and early access to six Specializations before anyone else will.

Along with it you will receive the UNSC Infinity Briefing Packet filled with schematics, weapon info, and more epic Halo cannon.

A 90-minute version of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn will be included with bonus content that expands on the characters and stories of FUD and behind the scenes look at the making of the live action series.

On top of all of that, you get your exclusive Xbox Live content which includes :

  • Unique in-game Spartan-IV armor skin
  • Unique in-game weapon skin for the Assault Rifle
  • Exclusive in-game emblem
  • Xbox LIVE Avatar prop
  • and Xbox LIVE Avatar Spartan IV armor set.

Wow…. So this is finally happening. I am getting very excited to finally get to see more Cortana and Chief action… or… you know what I mean.

Pre-order here!!!

Check out The Halo Bulletin for a more in-depth analysis of the upcoming release.
