Push Me Pull You is sumo Noby-Noby Boy, and I like it!

One of my favorite games (even before Washington legalized marijuana) was Noby Noby Boy, an odd “do whatever” game where you are a freak tube creature that can stretch indefinitely (I guess you can break, but usually this is postpone-able). This was made by Keita Takahashi, the creator of Katamari Damacy.

Coming from “House House” a 4-person dev team in Melbourne Australia, “Push Me Pull You” has some damn interesting promise. Wrestle as a merged human-centipede like…. sausage tube against other freaks of similar composition. This is a 2v2 local multiplayer game and holy shit I need it. I’m getting a heavy Noby Noby Boy vibe from this game and am excited by it. Human centipede + wrestling.

Their description is as follows:
“Push Me Pull You is a 2v2 sports game where you and your partner control the two heads of a single elongated body. Coordinate to wrestle the other sports-monster for control of the ball.”
They mention that you can play by yourself against someone else, trying to control both heads (you could control your head and butt in NNB in a similar fashion).

I have no idea why they are selecting 3 heads if you only see two (maybe I’m just confusing a menu, and those are preselects/saved heads), but they promise customization for your character/s. Other aspects such as your score is so clean that I’m amazed at it’s simplicity (your half of the field filling when the ball is on your side).

This makes me scream WTF and YES YES YES.

If this needs to be Kickstarted I’ll back it.
